Working in a town, city or municipality is not easy. Increasingly we are under pressure to deliver more, better and faster and often with limited resources.
Yet many of you are doing an amazing job, doing incredible things in your own regions. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could collaborate more and learn more from each other about what works and what doesn't in a practical way?
Welcome to the Stellenbosch LED Academy, an online portal where you can find lots of short easy to follow courses to learn from others, be in in tackling unemployment, reducing waste, improving healthcare etc.
And because at the end of the day we are not just people working in government but also humans, in this academy you will find lots of other courses to help you also at home, from courses on parenting to help you prepare your children for a modern world, writing CVs, health, first aid, dealing with setbacks, learning about money, career advice, etc etc.
No online course will of course solve all your challenges but we hope that this will be a useful starting point in figuring out what to do tomorrow morning.
