Many people have the dream, however, challenges such as access to capital, to market, and lack of support (non-financial as well) have been obstacles to our residents who want to run successful enterprises.
Around the world, entrepreneurship is regarded as a conduit for Economic Development and a significant contributor to employment.
In order for entrepreneurship to grow and thrive, the right ingredients must be in place.
It is Midvaal’s aim to create the right environment for you as an entrepreneur to thrive. We aim to connect you to the relevant stakeholders to help activate your dream. essential that a robust support framework is created and maintained.
What I need from you, should we partner together, is to create and innovate and create solutions to build our economy. With the combined support of a variety of stakeholders.
The most important starting point is to make entrepreneurs central to all solutions aimed at boosting entrepreneurship, we need to form collaboration. It is no longer feasible for the government to see itself as the custodian of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Most importantly, we aim to facilitate entrepreneurship through creating enabling and flexible policies, leaving the sector to self-generate and regulate as it grows within the context of what is happening on the ground.
We intend to partner with all entrepreneurs because we believe that it is only through carefully structured strong partnerships and engagements that we can make a meaningful difference in transforming the entrepreneurship landscape and possibly see sustainable economic development and job creation in our area.
It is, therefore, my dream to build an entrepreneurial ecosystem by creating and capacitating a business centre in and around Midvaal, and maintain it with a long-term strategy that nurtures entrepreneurs.
