The StartUp Tribe

The Step Up Entrepreneurship Academy is an initiative to bring knowledge and know-how to the millions of phenomenal young people to empower them with the tools and skills for each person to achieve what they want to achieve in business. Some courses are free, some are against a small contribution (which goes back into the programme to develop even more courses for you): but all are designed to help you in a practical, hand-on way to start, grow and scale your business, whether you are a student, a startup, a small business or a professional (lawyer, doctor, accountant, engineer, etc). Our headline programme provides smart kids who need opportunities a possibility of lifting themselves and their communities out of poverty. Our programme includes skills training, motivation and business idea incubation bootcamp and competition. We believe that given the skills and opportunities, South African youth have what it takes to start and run their own businesses.
